Are you a writer who wants to include a more diverse cast of characters, yet feels afraid and unworthy of doing so?

Well, you’re not alone my friend. Here’s some thoughts about all of this that I hope serve you in your search for authenticity and agency as you author your stories, your career and your life.

October in Bellevue Washington!

I gave a 90 minute talk about including diversity in your writing at the Emerald City Writers Conference, Oct 27, 2018. This is an enormous subject which of course can’t be “covered” in 90 minutes, but I did my best to cram in as much as I could, while listening to and learning from this group of awesome writers (aka world changers). As promised, here are some key ideas and references for participants and for those who couldn’t attend or who might be interested.

In hopes of better organizing things, I’ve moved the food for thought notes over to Resources for Writers.
